Description of arms (German): In einem von Silber über Rot geteilten Schilde erheben sich aus grünem Rasenboden drei natürliche Tannen, die mittlere etwas höher als die beiden äußeren. [1]
Blazoning of arms (English): Per fess Argent and Gules, over all issuant from a mount Vert, three fir-trees proper, the central one higher than the others.

Strangely, the arms used on the flag does show a distinctly blue upper half instead of a white upper half.
