Burgee of the Austrian Sailing Federation, from www.sailing.or.at/oesv/wu10.htm (link no longer functioning).
The background is white with a white cross with a thick red fimbriation. In the intersection of the arms, a dark red disk charged with something
white. The original image is too small to be sure, but it looks like the Austrian
eagle with an anchor superimposed, so that's what I put there.

The site at
www.spyc.de/vereine/land/au_verein.htm also reports this burgee.

The Union Yacht Club (having chapters on several Austrian lakes) uses a
triangular pennant that is, I believe, patterned on the burgee that was used in
Austrohungarian period: a white triangular pennant with the crowned Austrian
shield, as in the naval ensign.
The modern UYC chapters show slightly
different designs of the burgee - some defaced with inscriptions, and at last
one shows it on their homepage in rectangular form (http://www.uycns.at/)
