The Flag

In 1676 Pennacook Indians and Africans were shipwrecked on St. Davidís Island (Bermuda), en route to a slave plantation in the Caribbean. They have living descendants on that island today. And they have a flag. The official name of the descendants of the Indians from Massachusetts in Bermuda is "St. David's Islanders and Native Community". The flag is white with the community's emblem on it. (brief history and photo of the SDINC ceremonial blanket)  (photos of the flag)
