This post has a press release about the new flag: https://www.facebook.com/Nigadoo/photos/1361873934197557:

With a desire to include its ancestral history, the Village of Nigadoo has collaborated with the Pabineau First Nations Community to create a new municipal flag. No doubt, most are aware that the Village of Nigadoo was discovered by the Mi'kmaw people long before the arrival of the Acadians. They named the village Nigadoo (hiding place) in reference to the natural shelter offered by the banks of the river.

The flag is the reflection of a close collaboration between these two cultures. You will find representation of the Acadian colors, the Nigadoo mill wheel, the diverse water presence provided by Mother Earth and, very importantly, the feather; a Mi'kmaw symbol of peace and strength. It is also strategically placed at the base of the flag specifically to signify Nigadoo’s origins, show movement and underline the resilience of the people.

This new official flag will proudly fly at the Town Hall as well as at several other places within the village such as the Belvedere Park, the gazebo, the Sportplexe and the Vieux Moulin Park. We would like to thank Chief Terry Richardson and Council Members of the Pabineau First Nations for their crucial involvement in this project. The Chief states: “Pabineau is very pleased with the flag that the Village of Nigadoo has designed. The fact that we as a First Nation were approached to have input shows the strong ties between the Acadian and Mi'kmaw populations of our province. The feather that is represented in this flag has the peace and friendship that still exists between our people.

Photos show that the flag is made up of gradient colors:
