The emblem unites the arms of Oberegg and Hirschberg. Sometimes the arms of Oberegg and Hirschberg are being displayed separately.

The district of Oberegg doesn't have an own colour flag. It is represented either by the colour flag of the Rhode of Oberegg (black-yellow-green) or the colour flag of Hirschberg (white-red-green).
