Town Arms are blue French shield in its base is a grassy barrow, surmounted
with a brown apple-tree with green leaves and 17 reef fruits of red colour
(azure an apple tree naturel fructed gules on a grassy mound). Out
of the rofs sprigs a silver colored brook, which makes a right curve (of
viewers view is it curved to the left), symbol of the River Nisa. The shield
is ... to the decorating frame (bronze coloured), surmounted with a silver
mural crown of five battlements.
Note - It is a canting Arms. Jablon is a Czech word for apple
tree and „nad Nisou" means „Upon Nisa".
Flag of the Jablonec nad Nisou town is a rectangular field of three
horizontal (equal) stripes in order: green - white - green. In the center
is the Coat of Arms. Town colours are derived form the Arms: green - silver
(white) -green and are allusion of - the top of the tree - the river
and - the mound. The shade of green ... the Leaves Green.
