The President's flag

[Flag of Czech President] by Blas Delgado Ortiz, 21 Jul 2001

In the centre is a large Coat of Arms of Czech Republic surrounded by lime tree branches. On the scroll is written PRAVDA VITEZI ("Truth is victorious").
Petr Exner, 19 June 1995

The Motto PRAVDA VITEZI in Czechian Presidents flag means not "Truth is victorious", but "The Truth (always) wins." It proofs the Latin version used on President's flag of CSFR - VERITAS VINCIT.
Aleš Křižan, 20 Nov 2000

President of the Republic. 1:1
There is no mention of the tricolour flamully border of the flag. Corner pieces are blue and there is 29 flamules in between each two corner pieces, in colour order red-white-blue. Similar pattern is used on Czech military colours. The pattern was also used on Austrian and Austro-Hungarian military flags (and royal standards) and several of countries followers of the A-H Monarchy continue to follow it in different degree (cf. Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia, Yugoslavia)
