Image based on Petr Exner's Vexilologický Lexikon prapory obcí ČR (2005) - Pláně municipality, Plzeň-sever okres, Plzen region - flag adopted 21 September 2005.
Flagdescription: two equal vertical stripes green, red; at 1/12 flagheight from bottom over all a white horizontal stripe of 1/4 flagheight charged at center with a red Maltese cross; in top center two white swans opposing, beaked and legged yellow (and loving each other dearly...)
Flag and Coat of Arms at this site, with Coat of Arms: like flag; the white stripe replaced by a ploughiron.
