Gablingen Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale; at dexter Or, issuant from base a triplemount Vert, charged with a bar wavy Argent, on its top a castle Argent with a turret topped by a bulbous spire Gules; at sinister Or a fleur-de-lis Azure.
Meaning:
The castle is a representation of the local castle, which was owned by the Fugger family between 1527 and 1889. The family had been an important manorial lord in the village and is owner of the surrounding woods until today. They also had the local cognisance until 1848. The bar wavy is a representation of the little Schmutter River. The tinctures blue and golden are those of the Fugger family.
