Rattelsdorf Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, on base green a church Gules with spire and roofs Azure, at dexter flanked by a fir Vert, issuant from the sinister bordure an arm dressed Sable holding a Latin cross of the same.
Meaning:
Not mentioned in blason is the top of the spire, a golden cross on top of a golden ball. The arm with cross had been chosen, because there had been similar arms of the Michelsberg Abbey in Bamberg, which was the local ruler until 1802. The church is a representation of the local parish church. The fir sometimes before had been depicted also as a deciduous tree on local seals.

The arms had been in use since 1836 without approval.
