Shield parted per pale, at dexter Gules a tube-well Argent, at sinister Or a lion rampant Sable armed and tongued Gules, superimposed by a bendlet Argent.
Meaning:
The sinister half displays the arms of the Bishopric of Bamberg, to which Schönbrunn belonged for a long time. Berthold of Leiningen, Bishop of Bamberg between 1257 and 1285, bought village and palace in 1280. The well (German: Brunnen) is a canting element. The tinctures red and white are those of the Bishopric of Würzburg, to which the local parish belonged.
