Vierkirchen Coat of Arms

Shield Azure a stork's head Argent armed Gules.
Meaning:
The head includes the upper part of the neck. The arms are based on the seal of the Lords of Vierkirchen, who were mentioned in the 12th century due to its relationships to the monasteries of Weihenstephan and Indershofen, precisely on the personal seal of Dietreich of Vierkirchen from 1378. He had been judge in Kranzberg since 1375. The tinctures blue and white are those of Bayern and the Wittelsbach kin.
