Mamming Coat of Arms

Shield Argent in chief a pile embowed reversed Gules, touching a triplemount Sable issuant from base and charged with a heraldic rose Argent.
Meaning:
The embowed pile is taken from the arms of the Cistercian Aldersbach Monastery, which owned the Mamming district (Bavarian: Hofmark) from 1637 until 1803, when it was secularised. The rose is taken from the arms of the Mamminger family, who had its origin in the village. Its members lived in Dingolfing and Deggendorf.
