Märkische Heide Banner

It is a green-yellow-green vertical triband with ratio of stripes 1:2:1. The coat of arms is in the middle of the yellow stripe.

Shield Or, three pine cones Sable alternating with three acorns Vert, altogether in circle, bordure Vert charged with 17 bezants (or if you prefer simply Vert semy of bezants).
Meaning:
The bezants are symbolising the settlement cores of the municipality. Acorns and pine cones are symbolising mixed forest as predominant habitat.
