Thalheim Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, on the peaks of a triplemount issuant Vert three firs of the same.
The village probably was established at the end of the 12th century and belonged to the Lordship of Stollberg. It was first mentioned in 1447. The main business lines had been mining and the production of linen. In 1925 Thalheim gained city rights. The arms are referring to the location in the Erzgebirge and are based on local seals from around 1625.
