Kleinsendelbach Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pall reversed, above right Azure a sinister facing wolf's head Argent, above left Or a lion's head Sable tongued Gules, beneath bendy of six of Gules and Argent.
Meaning:
The wolf's head is taken from the arms of the Lords of Eschenau. They had been imperial commissionaires, lived in the area of the current municipality and died out in 1370. The lion's head is the differentiated heraldic animal of the Archbishopric of Bamberg and is alluding to the fact that Schellenberg Castle belonged to the archbishopric since 1251. The bendy base is taken from the lesser arms of the Free Imperial City of Nürnberg and is alluding to the close relationships between village and city.
