Langensendelbach Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, a key Or and a sword Or in saltire, in chief a blossom Argent, issuant from base a crozier Argent in pale.
The blossom is considered tob e a cherry blossom. It is alluding to the many orchards surrounding the municipality, where especially cherries, strawberries and horse radish are cultivated. The crozier is alluding to the close relationship between the village and the Augustine Monastery in Neunkirchen upon Brand. Key and sword are the attributes of St. Peter and St. Paul, patron saints of the local parish church. The colours red and white are the colours of the Archbishopric of Bamberg, to which the village belonged since 1007.
