Kranzberg Coat of Arms

Shield Azure a crane Argent on top of a triplemount issuant Or.
Meaning:
The arms are canting, as the name of the municipality is derived from Kranichsberg Castle, which means "mountain of the crane". The castle was seat of commissionaires of the Wittelsbach kin since the 13th century and was destroyed in 1632 by Swedish troops.
