Obermichelbach Coat of Arms

Shield parted per bend embattled, above left Or a plough share Gules, beneath right Sable a bendlet wavy Argent.
The line of partition is taken from the arms of the Linck family, who owned the village since 1504.The plough share is symbolising agriculture. The bendlet wavy is representing the Michelbach, the name giving creek. The tinctures black and silver are those of the Principalty of Ansbach, to which the village historically belonged.
