Großlangheim Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, issuant from base a saint Argent, nimbed Or, holding a baton Or by his left hand and a scallop Or by his right hand.
Meaning:
The saint is St. James the Elder, the local patron saint, recognisable by his attributes, the scallop and the baton. The town seal from 1547 already displayed the saint, so did three other seals with minor changes until the beginning of the 19th century. The current version is based on the seal from 1633.The tinctures red and white are those of the Counts of Castell and of the Bishopric of Würzburg as well.
