Tunau Coat of Arms

Shield Azure three plough shares Or ordered 2:1.
Meaning:
The village historically belonged to Schöönau Bailiwick as a part of St.Blasien Monastery. It became a dominion of Baden in 1806, a municipality in 1809 and had its first seal in 1811, just displaying an inscription. The plough shares are alluding to the rural character of the municipality.
