Shield Or with orle Vert, parted abased by two bars wavy Azure, in chief an eradicated oak Vert, in base a cogwheel Gules.
Meaning:
The blue bars are representing the rivers Zchopau and Chemnitz, borders of the municipality. The oak is representing landscape and forests, the cogwheel industries.
