Niederbergkirchen Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Sable a bend chequered of Argent and Gules, beneath two rows of vair nebuly of Argent and Azure.
Meaning:
The Cistercian bend in the upper half is representing the Cistercian Raitenhaslach Abbey, to which the local parish belonged. The abbey had been also the manorial lord until 1803. The lower half is representing the Augustine Au upon Inn Abbey, which played an important role in the 13th and 14th century.
