Seubersdorf Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Or a double headed eagle Sable in a collar of clouds Azure, beneath Gules six connected linden leaves Or in circle.
Meaning:
The arms combine elements of the family arms of two families, which ruled the Ittelhofen district (Bavarian: Hofmark) in the past. The leaves had been the family arms of the Lords of Ittelhofen, who gave their kin the name of that village in the 13th century. The family ruled the village including the low level cognisance until the end of the 16th century. Eagle and collar are referring to Peter Apian, who acquired the district in 1544. The district was ruled by his heirs until 1576.
