Coat of arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a red field is a torso of St.John the Baptist, bearded black, nimbed golden(=yellow), dressed in a fur in natural colour and a white piece of cloth around his hips. He holds a golden(=yellow) book in his right hand, on which is sitting the golden(=yellow) Paschal Lamb. In his left hand he holds a stick of the same colour topped by a cross. Upon the middle base point is a silver(=white) inescutcheon divided by a black cross.
According to source St.John the Baptist was the local patron saint. The inescutcheon is symbolizing the archbishopric and electorate of Köln.
