Shield split by a pall Argent, in chief Gules an eagle Argent armed Or; in base vert dexter a fleur-de-lis Or leashed Gules, sinister a Mitre Or charged Gules.
Meaning:
The eagle is derived from the arms of the Counts of Lindow-Ruppin, a branch line of the Arnstein kin, who were the first German rulers of Ruppin in the 13th century. He is also representing the former Neuruppin CountyThe fleur-de-lis is taken from the arms of the Lords of Plotho, first rulers of Kyritz and also representing former Kyritz County The mitre is representing former Wittstock County and also alluding to Bishop Heinrich I of Havelberg, who made Wittstock his capital. County seat is the city of Neuruppin.
