Stockheim Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, issuant from an embattled wall Argent masoned Sable a bishop with robe and mitre Or, holding an open book Argent by his dexter hand and a crozier Or by his sinister hand.
Meaning:
The arms are based on a municipal seal from 1510. The bishop is alluding to the Chapter of Würzburg, which had been the local ruler since the 13th century. In the 17th century the village was acquired by the Bishopric of Würzburg. The wall is alluding to the local fortification. Remains are still existing.
