Bruckmühl Coat of Arms

Shield Gules parted by a bridge Argent masoned Sable, in chief a buck's horn Argent, in base a millstone Argent.
The village received the current name in 1948 and was upgraded to a market town in 1964. The tinctures and the horn are reminding on the predecessor Kirchdorf at Haunpold and its close relationships to the Lords of Holenstein, who among others built the local parish church in the 15th century. Bridge and millstone are canting elements.
