Pfakofen Coat of Arms

Shield Gules parted by a saltire Argent, in chief a coronet Or, in base a crown Or.
The saltire as an attribute of St. Andrew is representing the institutions of pastoral care in the village, pastors of St. Andrew in Freising and of the Benedictine Mallersdorf Abbey. Coronet and crown are taken from the arms of the Counts of Königsfeld, who owned the local district (Bavarian: Hofmark) between 1532 and 1808.
