Sinzing Coat of Arms

Shield chapé embowed, beneath barry of six of Argent and Azure, above right Argent parted by a Latin cross Gules, above left Gules a natural rose bush Argent on the central peak of a triplemount of the same.
Meaning:
The cross is alluding to large possessions of the monasterial district (Bavarian: Hofmark) of Prüfening in the former municipalities of Bergmatting, Eilsbrunn and Sinzing. The rose bush is taken from the arms of the former municipality of Viehhausen, which took the charge from the canting family arms of the Barons of Rosenbusch, who owned the Viehhausen district from the 16th century until the 18th century. The barry part in base is reminding on the Lords of Laaber, who played an important role in the Medieval in the whole region between Donau and Laber.
