Ebnath Coat of Arms

Shield Argent a stag salient Gules, chief Gules charged with a sledgehammer Argent and an arrow of the same in saltire.
Meaning:
The stag is taken from the family arms of the Barons of Hirschberg, who ruled the local district (Bavarian: Hofmark) from 1355 until the beginning of the 19th century. The hammer is reminding on ironworks in Ebnath and Sengelau and on mining in Mehlmeisel. The arrow is an attribute of St. Giles, the local patron saint.
