Shield parted per fess, above twice parted per fess and twice per pale of Gules and Argent, beneath Argent a black Gothic initial "F".
Meaning:
The State Archive suggested in 1930 a stamp displaying two intertwined blue triangles in a golden field as a local symbol. This was however rejected in 1935 as a Star of David and the current arms were introduced. The upper half display a Cistercian bar and is alluding to the Rottenmünster Nunnery, which owned estates since the 14th century and had been the manorial lord under Austrian sovereignty. The tinctures are also those of Austria. The initial is the first letter of the municipality's name.
