Breitenbrunn Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Argent a pale wavy Azure superimposed by a watermill wheel in counterchanged tinctures, at sinister Sable a patriarchal cross fourché Argent.
Meaning:
The cross is alluding to the Hospital of the Holy Ghost of Memmingen operated by the Order of the Holy Ghost, which had a branch in Breitenbrunn from the 14th century until 1803, when it was secularised. The dexter half is symbolising the local creek and the watermills alongside its banks.

The banner was approved on 20 March 1991 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Schwaben. The arms were approved on 8 May 1974 by Minister of Interior of Bayern.
