The white flag is horizontally divided by two narrow red stripes. In the centre between the stripes is a simplified version of the coat of arms of the city of Marburg, only having colours red, white and black.
The shield is topped by a white mural crown. At the fly is a black inscription "MRV" over "1911".

It is a 6-stripes flag divided horizontally by red and white lines starting with a red one.
In the canton is the logo of the club showing a blue lower case inscription hüls in the chief,
a green leaf superimposed by a red "f" and flanked by red "V" and "B".
In the base is an embowed red "1884"(!). The inscription. "R.C.Marl" is countercharged and superimposing the 2nd and 3rd stripe.

The 1905 flag (see left image above), perhaps erroneous, was blue. On centre a white 8-point star and on canton a black-white-red horizontal tricolour.
The 1913 flag (see right image above) was more or less the current flag with the star off-centred to the fly and a black over white over red tricolour in the canton.

It is a plain white pennant with two black horizontal lines. Between the lines are black capital letters "B", "R" and "C" surrounded by green connected circles.
The "R" is slightly lower. Black and green are the colours of the Besselgymnasium (school), which is also today one of the most successful schools in German school rowing.

The club was established as a mere school association and joined the DRV very late, probably in the 1980s or 1990s.
Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel had been a famous mathematician, who was born in 1784 in Minden. He lived and worked mainly in Königsberg (today: Kaliningrad in Russia) in Prussian services and died in 1846.

It is a 6-stripes flag divided by alternating yellow and blue stripes starting with a yellow one.
The flag has a black canton in which a yellowish horn is superimposing a red mill wheel placed on a white background.
This image is connecting the horn as a symbol of German mail with the wheel taken from the local coat of arms.
