The flag of the Colegio Médico Dominicano can be seen online here. The flag consists of the CMD logo in black and yellow centered on a yellow field. The logo is in the form of a triangle, with a globe and staff of Asclepius and the year 1891. The name of the institution is written along the three sides of the triangle, with the acronym "CMD" beneath it. Randy Young, 13 March 2016
The Colegio Médico Dominicano (CMD, Dominican Medical College) is an independent part of the Dominican Republic government responsible for representing physicians and the medical profession to public and private institutions, promoting their continuing education, setting ethical standards, and advocating for the health and welfare of society. CMD is also responsible, in consultation with the Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Higher Education, and the Dominican Association of Schools and Medical Schools, for regulating re-certification criteria for doctors across the Dominican Republic, as well as establishing the minimum qualifications for teaching medical curriculum in Dominican public and private universities.
