The Ministry's flag features the Ministry logo centered on a white field with the name of the ministry (MINISTERIO DE AGRICULTURA) in black capital letters below. The logo is a green trapezoid with the silhouette of a three-leafed plant in white within the trapezoid. Photographs from 2015 of this flag with a green fringe can be found here and here. The Ministry of Agriculture (Ministerio de Agricultura) is one of 23 cabinet-level ministries in the Dominican Republic. The Ministry's mission statement, according to the Google translation of its website, is to "formulate and direct agricultural policies in accordance with the development plans of the country, for producers to utilize their comparative and competitive advantages in the market and thereby contribute to ensuring food security, generating productive employment and foreign exchange and improving the living conditions of the population." A slightly different design can be found in a photograph from 2013. In this flag, the green trapezoidal logo is smaller, with the name of the ministry in smaller letters clustered beneath the logo, and a green line separating the logo from the writing. At this point, I'm not sure if this is a variant design, or the official flag design changed between 2013 and 2015. Randy Young, 21 May 2015
