The municipality of Los Llanos de Tormes (93 inhabitants in 2009; 1,746 ha) is located in the southwest of Ávila Province, 80 km of Ávila.

Symbols of Los Llanos de Tormes

The flag and arms of Los Llanos de Tormes are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 20 December 2004 by the Municipal Council, signed on 19 June 2006 by the Mayor, and published on 3 July 2005 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 127, p. 12,624 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Quadrangular, tierced per bend. At hoist azure, in the middle or with the municipal coat of arms, at fly vert.
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Checky 15 pieces in three rows seven sable and eight argent, 2a. Gules a cross argent on a cubic pedestal, 2b. Vert four stars or in base waves argent and azure. The shield surmounted by a Royal Spanish Crown.
