The municipality of Quintanabureba (35 inhabitants in 2012; 1,236 ha) is located in the north of the Province of Burgos, 50 km from Burgos.

Symbols of Quintanabureba

The flag and arms of Quintanabureba are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 8 November 2003 by the Municipal Council, signed on 14 February 2004 by the Mayor, and published on 25 February 2004 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 38, p. 2,597 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Of proportions 1:1, quadrangular. Plain white. At 1/10 of its upper and lower edges are placed horizontal stripes of red and green colour, respectively, both of 1.50/10 of the flag's hoist. In the middle of the flag is placed the municipal coat of arms.
Coat of arms: Per pale, a chief gules charged with the genuine castle of Castile (or on gules, masoned sable port and windows azure, with three crenelated towers, the central higher) surrounded by two six- pointed stars or, 1. Azure three ears or, one in pale and two per saltire, 2. Argent a grapevine vert (leaves) and sable (grapes). The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.
