Description

Vertically striped light green (though illustrated with a darker shade than other medium greens), yellow and purple (illustrated with a sort of violet). Ratio 2:3.

Colours from the arms. The green stripe represents the olive tree (canting olivera) and the yellow one the oil jar (canting gerra oliera) on the coat-of-arms. Flag adopted 15th May 1997. Though officially described as 'light green' the illustration shows a darker shade than other 'medium' greens; also purple is illustrated with a sort of violet.
