The flag of San Muñoz is prescribed by a Decree adopted on 27 May 1999 by the Municipal Council, signed on 30 May 1999 by the Mayor, and published on 9 June 1999 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 109, p. 6,164 (text).
The flag is described as follows:

Flag: Quadrangular, with a stripe gules of double width, in the middle the municipal coat of arms surrounded by two stripes argent located on the borders of the flag.

The coat of arms of San Muñoz (image) is prescribed by a Decree adopted on 3 October 1997 by the Municipal Council, signed on 8 October 1997 by the Mayor, and published on 21 October 1997 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 202 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:

Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Or a two-arched stone bridge masoned sable, 2. Argent a lion gules three bends sinister or. The shield surmounted with a Royal Spanish Crown.
