About the club and its flag

The club was established in 1871. Its flag is blue and shows a yimplified coat of arms of the city of Worcester in different colours (yellow divided by a blue fess with three blue pears ordered 2(top) : 1(bottom). The shield is flanked by two small yellow diamonds. Above is an embowed inscription in yellow capitals: “WORCESTER”. Below is a smaller yellow inscription “1871” and further below an embowed inscription “RUGBY”. At the flayend is a vertical inscription in white capitals “WARRIORS”. The logo of the warriors usually is a golden helmet in a blue field.
