The forty-year old East Down Yacht Club of Killyleagh, Co Down, Northern Ireland (UK) maintains a website: http://www.edyc.co.uk. The club is established near Strangford Lough, immediately to the S.E. of Belfast. We learn that yacht racing takes place twice a week May-September, also cruiser and dinghy handicap racing. EDYC members compete in regattas, or cruise for leisure.

The burgee is mentioned at point 45 of the Club Rules (http://www.edyc.co.uk/hb-constitution.htm): “The colours of the Club shall be maroon and white and the burgee of the Club shall be a Viking Longship, white on a maroon field.”
