Presentation of Thermaikos

The municipality of Thermaikos (50,264 inhabitants in 2011; 13,140 ha) is a suburban municipality of the regional unit of Thessaloniki. The municipality was established in the 2011 local government reform as the merger of the former municipalities of Epanomi (Επανομή, 8,671 inh.), Michaniona (Μηχανιώνα, population 9,425), and Thermaikos (population 27,553). Thermaikos stretches for 10 km along the southeastern coast of the Thermaic Gulf.

Flag of Thermaikos

Apparently, there was a minor redesign of the municipality's logo, and now the logo and thus the flag looks a little different.
