State Administration for Protection and Rescue is a state administration body in
Croatia, and performs administrative and professional tasks related to the
establishment of a system of protection and rescue of citizens, material goods
and other goods in disasters, training and development of protection and rescue
participants, providing necessary assistance elimination of consequences in case
of general danger caused by natural disasters, epidemics and other catastrophes,
civil protection activities, firefighting activities, alert and information
system, and international cooperation in the field of protection and rescue. It
was established in 2005.
