Funabashi city in Chiba has a purple flag charged with white emblem adopted on May 1st 1973.
The emblem is a stylized Kanji Funa (舟) of Funabashi which stands for development.

Funabashi City has a flag law which says officially the height of the emblem is 2/4 of the height of the flag although there might be a variant.
