The Association adopted the Kanagawa Sports Flag to commemorate the 10th National Athletic Meet to be held in Kanagawa Prefecture. The flag was designed by Takehiko Miyanaga (a member of the Japan Advertising Artists' Association), who lives in the prefecture. The colors red (zeal), yellow (health), and blue (sports color, big sky, and power of youth) represent the sports spirit of unity and improvement. This sports flag was adopted in October 1955. The symbol mark of this sports flag was adopted to be the mark of this association at the board of directors meeting on November 9, 1971.
