The city emblem was adopted on May 21st 1990 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized hiragana な Na of Nagakute. The linked rings stands for a reconciliation and the extended lines for a development and a progress. The green color symbolizes a green town with a rich nature.
