City Flag

The flag of the city of Ayabe is white with mark in canton.
Tomislav Šipek, 28 January 2014

The city emblem was adopted on Aug 1st 1950 and the flag was adopted on Mar 2nd 1970 by Notice No 38. The white flag has a red city emblem in the canton. The city emblem is a stylized A of Ayabe in a form of a twill weave. It looks a pigeon as a symbol of peace as well. The letter A symbolizes an infinity and a top rank. The flag proportion is 7: 10.
