In 1552, he succeeded to the Oda family and worked to unify Owari Province, defeating Imagawa Yoshimoto at the Battle of Okehazama in 1560, burning down Enryaku-ji Temple in 1571, banishing Shohun Ashikaga Yoshiaki. In 1582, he committed suicide in Honnoji Temple, Kyoto, after being attacked by Mitsuhide Akechi. The war banner has yellow background with three Eiraku coins in black topped with a yellow Manki small streaming flag with Sutra of 南無妙法蓮華経"Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo in black. Eiraku coins were in circulation at the time and symbolize Nobunaga's policy of enriching the country through commercial development.

Ninth son of Tokugawa Ieyasu and the first lord of the Owari domain, he was granted 610,000 goku in 1607. The war banner was horizontal two stripes black over white with white Kamon of hollyhock topped with a black Maneki with a white hollyhock.

Shibata Katsuie (1522-1583). Commander of the Hokuriku Area Army under Oda Nobunaga. After Nobunaga's death, his rivalry with Hideyoshi Hashiba deepened, and he was defeated at the Battle of Shizugatake and committed suicide at Kitanosho Castle ,Echizen Province. The war banner has white background with Shibata’s Kamon family emblem of two mighty geese in black topped with a red Maneki small streaming flag.
