Overview

Kruopiai (Akmene District) - on green field the arms of Kruopiai: blackcock. Flag proportions 10:11, fringe is golden, finial is golden knob. The arms means location at woods and awareness for vanishing richness of nature.

Kruopiai Eldership (Kruopiu seniunija) is one of six elderships in Akmene District. Administrative center is the Borough of Kruopiai. The flag is green, in the middle is the coat of arms, the fringe is gold. The ratio of height and length is 10:11. Coat of arms: in a golden field on a brown branch, a black grouse with a scarlet eyebrow and silver ends of the tail feathers. Approved by Decree of the President of Lithuania No. 600 of September 28, 1999. Symbols by: Rolandas Rimkunas. The coat of arms symbolizes the location near the forests and concern for the vanishing richness of nature. There are two sub-elderships - Kruopiai and Ĺ apnagiai. No symbols known for them.
